Prrrrr. Woof Woof! There are a lot of questions on oils and animals. Many oils can be safely used with animals and pets! If you have a cat in your home, we suggest always diffusing with an open door so they can leave the room if they desire. Below our some of our favorite recipes. Our animal reference book of choice is the Animal Desk Reference.


Flea Collar:
1/2 c. Thieves Cleaner
1/2 c. Distilled Water
4 drops Thyme EO
4 drops Peppermint EO
4 drops Citronella EO
4 drops Palo Santo EO
4 drops Cedarwood EO

Mix in a glass jar (w/ lid) and soak collar or bandana in mixture. Re-soak every 1-2 weeks.


Paw Protector:
3oz. Beeswax
3 TBSP Coconut Oil
3 TBSP Almond Oil
1 TBSP YL Animal scents ointment

Melt in a double boiler. Pour into molds.
Add to each mold:
1 drop Frankincense EO
1 drop Lavender EO

Allow to harden. Gently Rub protective wax onto your pups paws before going outside.


Shampoo:
2 TBSP Castille Soap
1 TBSP Fractionated Coconut Oil
10 drops Lavender EO
10 drops Rosemary EO
10 drops Peppermint EO
Foaming handsoap container

Add ingredients to foaming hand soap container. Top with distilled water. Shake before each use.


Stinky Dog Spray:
1 c. distilled water
10 drops Lavender EO
6 drops Orange EO
6 drops Peppermint EO

Combine ingredients in spray bottle. Shake before each use. Cover pets eyes when applying to fur.
